Triple Deluxe[]
Plot[]
The game (and ultimately the entire plot of the series) begins in a dimly-lit room that looks suspiciously like a hospital lab. A thirteen year-old boy can be seen lying on an operating table in that same room, but there are no clues as to why he is there.
After several brief, unexplained, and blurry flashes of what appear to be memories, the boy wakes up with a startled gasp. He bolts upright from his spot on the table, taking a brief moment to catch his breath before getting off.
Searching the room, he finds a small Z-shaped pendant on a desk next to the operating table. Curious, he decides to touch it...
...and collapses to the floor as indistinct voices and images fill his head upon contact. Even though most of the voices sound muffled, one of them he can hear very clearly; it's a female's voice saying, "Zedd. That's his name."
Gameplay[]
The game follows an extremely complex set of controls. As the game was distributed exclusively to the Techno console, it uses only the control pad to locate the player, the interact button (informally known as the Y Button) allows the player to investigate objects, such as personifying the lifeless item, the action button (the A button), is used to attack: physically, or using ammunition and other related weaponry. The double R button (top R button) is used to sprint, and is the only control to do so, as the Y and A buttons can also be substituted by the B and X buttons via altering the default controls.
